Meriwether County sheriff captures final suspect in home invasion murder case

Jamire Montrelle Jones, 22, of Woodbury, was charged with murder, premeditated murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property. Meriwether County Sheriff Chuck Smith said Jones has been at large since a multi-agency undercover operation on Sept. 13. He was arrested at a house in Manchester on Tuesday.

Multiple local, state and federal agencies, including the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Western Metro Drug Task Force Bureau of Investigation, conducted a coordinated raid at six different locations in Woodbury, Manchester and Greenville. He arrested four people in September. Jones was believed to be in the Knoxville, Tennessee area at the time.

In addition to Jones, the following individuals were arrested and are being held without bail in the Meriwether County Jail:

  • Markeious Lorenzo Warrior, 19, of Manchester, Ga., was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Patrick Bernard Green, 18, of Manchester, was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property. He was already in custody for a separate incident in Warm Springs in July 2024. He faces four counts each of aggravated assault and participation in an illegal street gang, and a single charge of first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Columbus and Detavius ​​Ellison Jr., 17, of Manchester, were charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Darius Lamon Slaton, 20, of Woodbury, was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property. Slaton was already in custody on separate charges of aggravated battery and simple assault.

  • Trecursion Devon Favors, 22, of Greenville, was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Rodarian LaJeremy Lance Owens, 21, of Woodbury, was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Daveckio Sonteris Parks, 24, of Manchester, was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Eshannuel Shermaine Terry, Jr. of Greenville. (21) was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property.

  • Johnny Keashone Copeland, 21, of Woodbury, was charged with one count each of premeditated murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and 1st degree criminal damage to property. He was in the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections at the time of the raid.

Warrior, Green and Ellison were already in custody at the Meriwether County Jail for a separate incident in Warm Springs in July 2024. They each face four counts of aggravated assault and unlawful participation in street gangs and a single charge of first-degree criminal damage to property.

“We currently have in custody all known suspects (ten in total) of this heinous crime that occurred on March 19, 2023, on Tuskegee Lane, Manchester, Georgia. We are committed to seeking justice for the victim and his family. Collaborative efforts of local, state, and federal agencies in the capture of the suspect It was effective.” Sheriff Smith said.

Kim Harvey-Pollard was lying in bed when her Manchester home came under intense gunfire. Investigators said the woman was shot in the head and died later at Grady Memorial Hospital.
