World Pride 2030: London plans to host international event

World Pride 2030 could be held in the capital as Pride organizers in London have confirmed they will bid to host the 10-day festival.

Christopher Joell-Deshields, President of Pride in London, said the gala would be more than “just a parade” but would feature discussions on topics such as LGBTQ+ inclusive education and banning so-called conversion therapy.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan called the city a “symbol of inclusivity, acceptance and diversity”.

He added that he was “very proud” that London was hosting the event.
