Police and FC deployed outside banks in Capital amid rising robberies

In response to the recent robberies, security in Islamabad has been stepped up with police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel deployed outside banks. Yesterday, there were two cash thefts in banks in the G-9 and G-14 sectors.

While banks were instructed to change security guards, police checkpoints were established in various parts of the city.

Special checkpoints have been set up around the G-9 center, where motorcycle service companies conduct special searches for people wearing helmets.

Suspicious people’s bags are also checked. Police presence has also been increased at Ground Zero in Islamabad.

On the other hand, a murder case was registered after a citizen was killed during the robbery of a bank’s cash van in Islamabad. The case was filed by the deceased’s cousin at the Karachi Corporation police station.

Daytime robberies resulted in one death and seven injuries

Previously, one person died and seven people were injured. two Bank robberies coming to light in the federal capital. Residents have also encountered 26 separate incidents of street crime and theft, and local police have yet to catch any suspects.

The first robbery took place at the National Bank in Mor, Peshawar; A motorcyclist opened fire on security guards, injuring the three Ziaul Haq, Salimullah and Qasim Shah, as well as three nearby hotel employees.

Tragically, hotel staff Mir Haider later died from his injuries, while Nazirullah and Nadeem were also injured.

Eyewitnesses reported that the attacker, who was wearing a helmet and carrying a Kalashnikov, fled the scene with a bag full of money.

In a separate incident, robbers targeted Allied Bank in G-14, injuring security guard Fazal and stealing millions of rupees.
