Troopers search for suspect vehicle in pedestrian hit-and-run in Berkeley Co.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle suspected in a hit-and-run that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police said a car is believed to have hit a pedestrian who was seriously injured before leaving the scene of the crash.

The incident happened around 2:40 a.m. Sunday on Red Bank Road near Mars Lane.

Troopers say people should be on the lookout for a 2021-2025 Nissan Pathfinder with front-end driver’s side damage.
