GJPD responds to aggravated robbery at Dairy Queen

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – On October 26, the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) responded to a report of a possible robbery.

Before officers arrived at the Dairy Queen at 709 Northern Boulevard, the suspect drove off in a red Jeep Cherokee. Authorities later discovered a man broke into the freezer, stole the items and confronted an employee with a knife.

Around 11:20 p.m., officers stopped a red Jeep Cherokee matching the description of the robbery vehicle in the area of ​​North Avenue and 10th Street.

The suspect was arrested without further incident, and charges were not served.
