Davao CTTMO to drivers: Avoid reckless driving and racing

The Davao City Transportation and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) once again reminds motorists to avoid reckless driving and racing activities, especially on major roads, to prevent traffic accidents.

CTTMO president Dionisio Abude said the City Information Office had recently received reports of a racing incident in Matina involving a group of motorcycle riders.

CTTMO coordinated with the management of the property adjacent to the road where the incident occurred.

Abude said after obtaining the license plate numbers of the vehicles involved in the incident, the group was summoned to the CTTMO office for further questioning.

“Gahapon gipaadtoan namo diretso kung pwede ma-davet nato diri sa atoang opisina kay para maistoryahan nga katong ilang gihimo is, ma-aware sad ang publiko, nga dil maayo ang ilahang gihimo kay base makadisgrasya (We sent personnel to the people the other day) Abude,” “We were involved in inviting them to our office so we could talk to them and remind them and the public that what they were doing was dangerous and could lead to an accident,” he said.

Dabawenyos are also reminded to always obey the city’s traffic rules and avoid reckless driving. CIO
